Greensboro, North Carolina is home to one of the largest food deserts in the state.
A food desert is an area where there is no access to fresh groceries within a one mile radius. Grandma’s Handz has partnered with CrowdedLine to deliver fresh grocery options to families living in these food deserts.
Some people are not able to physically access a grocery store, and others simply cannot afford to purchase healthier options for their families. Whether it be an income gap, lack of assistance, transportation or illness, we are here to help!
Each family that becomes a client of our Darryl’s Deliveries program will receive between $35-$50 in groceries delivered to their door, contact-less, powered by CrowdedLine.
